Main eye-catcher of the new SIRACUSA front section is the striking apron with its optimized air inlets for better ventilation of the front radiators. In combination with the new bonnet, MANSORY does not only achieve an aggressive look, but generates also additional downforce. Newly designed side skirts are added to the wings. These steady the air flow between the axles and supply additional cooling air to the engine compartment through integrated ducts. The diffuser, which is fitted into the new rear spoiler, stabilizes the rear during high speeds and, in connection with the rear spoiler, generates contact pressure at the rear axle. The body kit is completed with carbon blades that replace the rear window. Compared with the production series Ferrari 458 Italia, MANSORY uses carbon components, applying its in-house autoclave method and manages to reduce the vehicle's weight by approx. 70 kg.
This ultra-light and high-strength material is already found in many applications of the production series Ferrari. MANSORY continues to apply this line with the SIRACUSA by making carbon the main material of all body components. Each single aerodynamic design element of the surface is manufactured in perfect quality and exactly fitted to the automobile.
The interior too benefits from the MANSORY customization. The MANSORY upholstery department combines the most valuable materials such as the finest leather, Alcantara and exposed carbon. Master craftsmen apply their skills using leather that is extremely durable, yet exceptionally soft. The characteristic, natural product with its special grain and the perfect decorative stitching by the hands of a true professional, convey a stylish elegance all around the newly designed centre console. Another highlight is the redesigned sports steering wheel with full-size airbag and the aluminum pedal system.
MANSORY achieves the perfect symbiosis between dynamic functionality and luxurious ambience.
As a perfect wheel/tyre combination, MANSORY adds forged rims (size 9 x 20 inch and 11 x 21 inch) with central locking system, and adding Michelin PS2 tyres 245/35 ZR20 and 305/30 ZR21, front and rear respectively.
The chassis components built into the SIRACUSA are especially adjusted to the dynamic driving behavior. Four sports shock absorbers combined with progressively wound lowering springs reduce the vehicle's centre point of gravity by 20 mm more than that of the production series model.
As a result of an optimized engine management system, a sports air filter, and a sports exhaust system, not only is the engine performance increased, but also the car's acceleration. Thus, the 8-cylinder engine generates 590 HP/434 kW and a torque of 560 Nm, accelerating the car in breathtaking 3.2 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed is 330 km/h, also higher than the basic Ferrari model.
